My mom is truly amazing. I had a very hard day a few days back that consisted of a lot of crying. She came over to me and told me when I was ready that I could come to her and of course I did.
I am blessed to have a mother like her. Someone who sings to me, makes me laugh, buys me cheer up flowers, and gives me words of wisdom. My mom is a strong woman centered in God and without her I’m not sure I would have survived those two hard days.
One thing I can say is that no matter how hard our day is, no matter how deep underwater we may feel, God is always by our side and He sends people to lift us up and get us through our struggles. On those days God sent me my mom to pray for me and lift up my spirits (My mom hadn’t gone to work that day because she wasn’t feeling well). On other days He may send me friends or strangers to brighten up my day. And other days He may send me no one to remind me that He is there and all I need.
The beautiful thing about this experience was that focusing on God and not my problem made it easier to get through the day AND I learned a valuable lesson. No matter how much you are hurting inside, it is so important to share your love with others because you don’t know how much other people are hurting inside.
It’s important to keep a smile and spread love no matter the hatred, anger or negativity that is focused your way because good always prevails!
